After numerous requests from visiting family and friends for the best tips on what to see and do, we’ve decided to compile our favourite picks for the best restaurants, cafes, exhibits and experiences – conveniently bundled into fun itineraries.
Rahaf Harfoush
Rahaf is a Digital Foresight Strategist and New York Times Best Selling Author who has a deep passion for exploring how technology is affecting the way we communicate, work and play. Her second book “The Decoded Company: Know Your Talent Better Than You Know Your Customers”(Penguin/Portfolio) was released in early 2014. Her first book, “Yes We Did: An Insider’s Guide to How Social Media Built the Obama Brand,” was released in 2009 and translated into Spanish, Japanese and Simple Chinese. She is currently working on her third book, an experiment in digital publishing called “ArchiTechs: How to Work Govern and Learn in a Hyper-Connected World.” Formerly, Rahaf was the Associate Director of the Technology Pioneer Programme at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.
Rahaf is a Global Ambassador for Sandbox, a World Economic Forum Young Global Shaper, and a member of the Summit Series Network. She sits on the board of Taking it Global, and is on the advisory boards of companies like Enstituteu.com, OneLeap.to & SyriaDeeply.org. She writes about technology and innovation at The Mark News, Techonomy and The Next Web.
Jesse Morgan
Jesse is an award winning video producer and the founder of Filter Five Productions, a media company that specializes in creating compelling micro-documentaries through the art of visual storytelling. Jesse works with clients from around the world including Lonely Planet, The United Nations, Monocle Magazine, The World Economic Forum, and more. He’s been a staff video journalists at both CTV and Citytv in Toronto and has worked for Reuters Television in Switzerland as well as many other media outlets.
Jesse enjoys photography, well made coffee and beer (both hard to find in Paris) as well as collecting visas in his passport from various assignments around the world.
